Garlic Parmesan New York Pizza Rolls are soft, cheesy bites packed with zesty marinara, gooey mozzarella, and a rich garlic butter topping. Perfect for parties, snacks, or family dinners, these rolls deliver bold flavors in every bite with a perfect golden-brown crust and melty cheese inside.

Ingredients

For the Dough and Filling

  • 1 pound pizza dough (homemade or store-bought)
  • 1 cup marinara sauce
  • 1½ cups shredded mozzarella cheese
  • ½ cup grated Parmesan cheese

For the Garlic Butter Topping

  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 2 tablespoons butter, melted
  • 1 tablespoon Italian seasoning
  • 1 tablespoon fresh parsley, chopped (for garnish)

Instructions

  1. Prepare the Dough: Start by rolling out your pizza dough into a large rectangle, aiming for about 12×16 inches to ensure there is enough surface area to evenly layer the toppings.
  2. Spread the Marinara: Evenly spread the marinara sauce over the rolled-out dough, leaving a small border around the edges to prevent sauce spillage during baking.
  3. Add the Cheese: Generously sprinkle shredded mozzarella cheese over the marinara sauce, then add half of the grated Parmesan cheese evenly on top.
  4. Roll it Up: Carefully roll the dough tightly into a log starting from one of the longer sides. Slice the rolled log into even pieces approximately 1 inch thick to ensure uniform cooking.
  5. Arrange the Rolls: Place the sliced rolls into a greased baking dish, arranging them snugly but with enough space so they do not overcrowd and stick together.
  6. Garlic Butter Topping: In a small bowl, mix the melted butter, minced garlic, Italian seasoning, and the remaining Parmesan cheese. Brush this mixture generously over the top of each roll to infuse them with flavor.
  7. Bake: Preheat the oven to 375°F (190°C). Bake the rolls for 20-25 minutes, or until the tops turn golden brown and the cheese inside is bubbly and melted.
  8. Serve: Remove the rolls from the oven, garnish with freshly chopped parsley, and serve warm. Enjoy the cheesy, garlic-infused goodness!

Notes

  • Use Fresh Dough: Fresh dough ensures the rolls are soft and fluffy with optimal texture.
  • Don’t Overfill: Avoid adding too much sauce or cheese to prevent the rolls from falling apart during baking.
  • Even Slices: Cutting uniform slices ensures the rolls bake evenly and cook through properly.
  • Extra Garlic Butter: For added flavor, brush more garlic butter on the rolls immediately after baking.
